Below is my professional information.
Qualifications
Ph.D. (Doctorate) in Psychology from the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand. Full registration as a Clinical Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists’ Board.
Other Degrees: B.A., B.A. (1st class Honours), M.A. (Distinction), and Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology.
Research
In addition to being a clinician (psychologist/therapist), I’m also a researcher. Prior to starting my business in New Zealand, I worked as a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Sussex in England.
Scientific research studies I’ve conducted with colleagues have been published in respected international journals. These studies were about intimate relationships (couples) and eating problems/dieting. My publications are listed below. Where my name is listed first indicates that I was the lead researcher on the study.

In my private practice, I offer problem solving consulting, and treatment for marriage and relationship problems, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders.
